Over Renee

I began my teaching career in Australia as a pre-school teacher, a role I passionately held for six years. During this time, I earned a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (and a Bachelor of Arts), which equipped me with essential skills in child development and early education. This experience laid a strong foundation for my teaching philosophy, emphasizing patience, creativity, and adaptability.

I have lived in Belgium for 2 years and currently teaching English to adults at Qrios, Transitioning to teaching adults has broadened my instructional techniques and deepened my understanding of diverse learning needs. My role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing personalised feedback to help each learner achieve their goals.

Motivatie

My passion for teaching stems from a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education. Working with diverse age groups, from pre-school children to adult learners, has given me a unique perspective on the different stages of learning and development. Each stage presents its own challenges and rewards, and I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact at every level.

Teaching English, in particular, is incredibly rewarding for me. Language is a powerful tool for communication and connection, and helping students master it is both a privilege and a responsibility. I am committed to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and grow.

My teaching approach is centered around creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, and it is my responsibility to tailor my methods to meet their individual needs. I believe teaching should bee student centred, adaptable and flexible, provide continuous feedback and create a positive learning environment.
