Over Michael
My name is Michael and I am an Irish student currently undertaking a Master's Degree in French Literature at Leiden University. I am a graduate of European Studies (which comprises History, Philosophy, Politics and two foreign languages) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland's oldest and most prestigious university. I have plenty of experience working with younger students.
Motivatie
I enjoy helping students -both young and old- to learn and improve in a subject. It is very gratifying to watch them make progress. I care very much about my areas of research and am passionate about transmitting this love for the Humanities to others.
Mijn aanpak
How I build a lesson depends on each student and their level: I personalise in every case. I always construct classes in a structured manner, with time in mind, and with specific goals. For example, in a French language class, a lesson will examine specific areas of grammar, which will then be practised orally, with a special focus on topics that tend not to get attention in a larger class.
