Motivatie
As an experienced and passionate fellow, I am excited about the opportunity to work with students and help them develop their English language skills. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and International Relations from the Protestant University of Central Africa (PUCA) - Yaoundé and a master’s degree from the same faculty and university. Presently I am a master’s student in International Humanitarian Action at the Catholic University of Louvain La Neuve.
I speak, write, and understand both English and French languages perfectly. In my previous role as a humanitarian, I have worked in English language speaking countries, thereby elaborating projects, and realizing them in English. Throughout my daily task, I organized English courses for the integration of refugees in their receiving communities, moreover, organizing focus group discussions, conferences and seminars all carried in English. I have had the opportunity to team up in designing and implementing lesson plans on English for ICT (information and communication technology) that engage and motivate students to learn. One of the things I am most passionate about as an English teacher is helping students
build confidence in their speaking abilities. To do this, I aim at regularly incorporating interactive activities and discussions into my lessons and encourage students to participate in class. I also make it a point to provide timely and constructive feedback on their performance. In addition to my experience, I am also proficient in the use of technology in the classroom and have used various digital platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and Teams to deliver
lessons and provide interactive learning opportunities for my students. I'm honored to contribute my skills and experience to help students achieve their English language goals.
