Over Sara

I am a native Italian speaker. I studied Archaeology at the university and then I specialized in teaching Italian to foreigners. I am also an intercultural mediator. I have a long experience in teaching in public and private schools and I also help students with speech disorders in learning modern and ancient languages (Latin and Greek).

Motivatie

I have many work experiences, especially in the field of education and teaching and I am used to work with young people, teenagers and adults. I am able to work in teams, I am self-motivated and I like to work in multicultural environments. I like the connection between different people and cultures; I think I have the competence to educate and the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
I have gained many experiences with teenagers working as group leader in summer schools abroad (especially in Uk and Ireland). During the years at the university, I have been able to utilize my skills working with people through a variety of jobs and it was very helpful to understand the importance of listening and comprehending customers’ needs and to learn to provide clear and accurate information.

Mijn aanpak

The most important aspects of my lessons are the needs of my student. I try to teach with a communicative approach and the focus is improve all the most important skills: speaking, listening, writing, reading. During the lessons I diversify the activities and the exercises. The grammar is important and I usually use authentic material and Italian songs.
