Laura

My name is Laura, I'm 22 years old. I was born in Barcelona, and I've lived there my whole life. I went to two different German schools to do elementary and high school, and that's why I consider German like a second mother tongue. After that, I started my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences in the Universitat de Barcelona. This last year I did an Erasmus exchange to do an internship in the Radboud Univesity. I liked it there so much that I'm going back to do my master's degree in Neurobiology.

Motivatie

I've taught and helped 8 years the same girl with different subjects (German, English, maths, chemistry, biology...). Through these 8 years, I've also helped two sisters (10 and 13) and a 23-year old guy with German. And in the summers I like to work as a counselor in German and English summer camps.

Mijn aanpak

Usually, my students are really happy with me. I try to make the classes interactive and make them speak a lot so that they don't get bored. Moreover, I try to be creative and use different approaches (videos, games, books...) to make it more interesting. And what I also like to do is prepare a test every week or every two weeks so that my students practice what we have done and learned.
