Over Sylvie

I have a professional experience of more than 25 years in the field of teaching French as a foreign language or second language with learners of all ages - children, adolescents, students and adults - but also from different cultures having taught in Greece, Italy and Belgium where I live. This experience allowed me to face many learning situations whether in private lessons (in class or on Skype), language centres or private schools. I am therefore able to adopt different learning methods depending on the level and age of learners and I am able to anticipate their possible needs and difficulties.

Moreover, apart from French, which is my mother tongue, I speak fluently English, modern Greek and Italian. This multilingual culture allows me to have a better understanding of the mechanisms of a language both in writing and speaking tasks.

Motivatie

I think I have the appropriate skills, enthusiasm and flexibility to teach to learners of different cultures and ages. I always try to choose the best teaching method according to the skills, competences and goals learners wish to reach.
