Over Khuan
Hello, my name is Khuan and I'm from England. I am a native English speaker and have been living in Belgium for five years. I am currently teaching English online to students, with an age ranging from four to eighteen years old with various levels of English. I also spent a year in Guangzhou, China, teaching English to adult learners with various cultural and linguistic abilities.
Mijn aanpak
Through my teaching experiences and CELTA studies, I developed critical pedagogic and classroom management skills, along with a passion for teaching English. I'm equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method, a philosophy with which I’m excited to help students. I apply this method in the classroom through interactive, student-centred activities that maximize “student talk time.” I scaffold my lessons so that they include pair and group work, as well as movement around the classroom. By engaging students in speaking, grammar, writing, listening and reading, and appealing to diverse learning styles, I help them improve their accuracy and fluency across key skill areas.
